This is caused by the Antivirus terminating the ads-server.exe process. In order to address this issue:
Important: Prior to following the steps below, it is recommended to delete the download folder usually located in here: e.g. C drive: ProgramData/ads/download.
- Open the Antivirus management
- Go to the approved program list
- Go to the Scan exclusion list
- Add the ADS path so it can be excluded for the antivirus
- Apply the updates on the Antivirus to make sure the new configuration has been applied
- Reboot the PC.

- Steps based on TrendMicro Antivirus – These steps may vary depending on the antivirus installed on the machine.
- In the event this issue happens after a clean installation, it is recommended to update the anti-virus, remove the download folder and reboot the PC.
